I’m an independent audiovisual archivist born in Paris, currently based in Bordeaux. I also take pictures and make videos.
Of Mediterranean descent, I have placed the region at the heart of my work, using analogue photography and video. My project Zoubeyda’s World was exhibited at the P21 Gallery in London in 2018. In 2020, some of my photos were featured in the Reader's Picks section of the Fisheye magazine.
After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Film from Boston University in 2015, I moved to Lebanon in 2016, where I worked as a post-producer. There, the digitization of films from Lebanese filmmakers fostered a strong interest in audiovisual archives.
In 2022, I graduated from the Film Preservation Master’s program at Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola, where I carried out the restoration of the film Waheb al Horriyah (Kais al Zubaidi, 1989) in a collaboration with Nadi Lekol Nas.
Since 2023, I’m working on Film Atlas, as both translator and production associate, and in 2024 I started working as the audiovisual archivist for Les Films de mon Oncle, taking care of French filmmaker Jacques Tati’s heritage.
